Developed by Dr Owen Chan. This calculator is intended as a bedside aid for clinicians caring for patients receiving foslevodopa/foscarbidopa (Vyalev).
For patients starting foslevodopa/foscarbidopa, use the LED Calculator and Starting Dose cards to calculate your Levodopa Equivalent Dose. LED results carry through to the Starting Dose calculator automatically.
For patients already on foslevodopa/foscarbidopa, use the Dose Adjustment card. This includes calculations for weaning dopamine agonists and adjustment for COMT inhibitor status.
This tool is designed for clinicians. Override options exist throughout, so you can tailor the treatment to your patients as you see fit.
